Goat's Milk Bar Soap

This is my absolute favorite bar soap! I always use it in the shower and sometimes even on my face while I'm in there. What really impresses me is that the bar lasts longer than other soaps, and best of all, it has a very, very mild scent. It’s virtually unscented. I love this, because as a highly sensitive person, I prefer products with little to no scent at all.

The scent of this soap is hard to describe, but it's extremely subtle and has a kind of milky aroma, which makes sense since it's made from goats’ milk. I'm particular about the ingredients I use, so I looked up each individual ingredient on the Environmental Working Group (EWG) database. I was happy to see that all of the ingredients have a rating of 1, which is the lowest rating to indicate how clean or non-toxic an ingredient or product is. The only exceptions were fragrance, which is too vague to look up; and titanium dioxide, which has a rating of 3. However, titanium dioxide is at the end of the ingredients list, which means there isn't a lot of it since ingredients lists are arranged by quantity from largest to smallest.

In my opinion, this soap is gentle enough to use on my face occasionally. When I'm not washing my face and makeup off, I will wipe some on my forehead, cheeks, and any other greasy areas before rinsing it off. I never feel any residue left behind, and my skin doesn't feel oily or dried out afterward. I have normal to combination skin, which means it's not too oily, but the oiliest parts are along the T-zone (forehead and nose) at the end of the day.
