Calm Magnesium Powder

This powder helps you de-stress; it relaxes the muscles and helps you sleep. The first time I took this, I was asleep face down in bed within 20 minutes.

“Symptoms of magnesium deficiency include loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and weakness. Extreme magnesium deficiency can cause numbness, tingling, muscle cramps, seizures, personality changes, and an abnormal heart rhythm.” - NIH

Magnesium is one of the most common deficiencies. This version of Calm also has calcium, which is an added bonus for those with low-density and women over their 40’s. The raspberry lemon flavor tastes great, like lemonade that’s a little on the tart side. I drink this after dinner to help wind down for the day.

When starting to use Calm, try a small amount and work your way up. Having too much at once will cause loose stools. I can safely take between 2 teaspoons to 1 tablespoon before bed.

You can make this hot or cold. If you make it hot, put the powder in a tall glass. Pour a few ounces of hot water over it, and wait a bit before pouring more. Otherwise, if you pour all of the water in, it mix will fizz like crazy and bubble over.

Currently, this 16-ounce version with calcium costs $38 on Amazon. If calcium isn’t a concern for you or if you’re a woman already supplementing with calcium, Costco carries Calm magnesium without calcium that’s $24.99 for 20 ounces.
