Vegan High-Calcium Milk to Help With Osteoporosis
Women need to make sure they are getting enough calcium to avoid getting osteoporosis, especially older women. We have brainwashed to associated strong bones with cow milk, but there are better ways of getting calcium. Besides, many people are lactose intolerant or are vegans.
Vegan High-Calcium Milk
Yields: 32 oz
3/4 cup tahini
1 qt water
1 handful of dark leafy greens (broccoli, collard greens, spinach or kale)
Blend all ingredients on high and strain.
Store in glass bottles with plastic lids (metal caps will rust). Will keep for 5 days.
English Toffee by SweetLeaf Sweet Drops is my favorite. Be careful not to add too much, Stevia can get bitter.
